This policy explains which cookies we use on www.fulgerhost.ro, for what purpose, how long we store them, and how you can manage them.

2. What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They enable the website to function properly, remember your preferences, secure your sessions and, where applicable, collect statistical information.

For the purposes of this policy, the term ‘cookies’ also includes similar technologies that store or access information on your device — local storage, session storage, web beacons and similar identifiers.

3. How do you cast your vote?

When you visit the website for the first time, we display a banner with three options on the same level:

• Accept all — allow all categories
• Decline all — allow only strictly necessary cookies
• Customise — select each category separately

Your selection will be saved 180 days, after which we will ask you again. We will also ask you again whenever we amend this policy or introduce a new tool.

You can change your mind at any time. In the bottom-left corner of every page, there is a permanent cookie settings button. Withdrawing your consent is just as simple as giving it. If you withdraw consent for a category, we will delete the relevant cookies and reload the page without those features.

You can also manage and delete cookies via your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will affect the functioning of your customer account and shopping basket.

4. What cookies do we use?

4.1. Strictly necessary

I’ll get your website and account up and running. No consent is required and cannot be disabled — without them, we cannot provide the service you are requesting.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR) and necessity for the performance of the contract (point (b)). For storage on the device, the exception under Article 4(5) of Law 506/2004 applies.

4.2. Preferences

I’ll take note of your preferences and enable the support chat. It will only be loaded with your consent.

4.3. Statistics

It shows us how the website is used, so that we can improve its content and performance. It will only be loaded with your consent.

We have enabled Google Consent Mode v2: until you give your consent, signals sent to Google are set to ‘declined’.

4.4. Marketing

They enable the measurement of advertising campaigns and the display of relevant adverts. It will only be loaded with your consent.

Legal basis for categories 4.2–4.4: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR and Article 4(5) of Law 506/2004).

5. What information may be collected

Depending on the categories you consent to: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, session duration, interactions with the website, language and currency preferences, and online identifiers.

We do not use cookies to create profiles that have legal effects on you, and we do not sell the data we collect.

6. Third-party suppliers and transfers outside the EU

Some of these suppliers process data in the United States. Transfers are carried out on the basis of standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and, where the supplier is certified, on the basis of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

We have entered into a data processing agreement with each of these suppliers.

7. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without this affecting the lawfulness of any processing carried out prior to such withdrawal.
